Creative Inception!
Marenje Marimba began as a project to create a youth marimba ensemble in the city of Fredericksburg. Our culture is rumered to be going through a rough pass, a recession, a slimming down. Recent media articles are saying we all have less: less jobs, less money, less connection.
Marenje Marimba was created to offer youth more! More opportunity for growth, coming together, more creativity, more richness. Marenje was founded to bring people together through the arts to thrive. Our goal is to foster a deep soul learning experince for all participants, witnesses and students. We use the soul arts of music, poetry, movement, and visula art to make our vision manifest in our world.
